- 2 large eggs
- 80g butter
- 130g dark chocolate
- 160g brown sugar
- 100g plain flour
- 80g chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
Preheat the oven to 180º C.
Melt the chocolate and the butter in a double boiler.
Remove from heat, and stir in the caster sugar. Stir in the eggs one by one, fully incorporating each one before adding the next.
Sieve the flour with the baking powder and stir into the mixture. Stir in the walnuts (or another kind of wished nuts). Pour the brownie mixture into muffin cups or paper cases (you will have around 16 if you fill the muffin cups 3/4 full)
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until a skewer inserted near the centre comes out clean. Don’t over-bake the brownies, the chocolate get’s bitter.
Serve and enjoy 🙂
P.S: you can serve it with ice-cream or cheese frosting 😛
